Now this is a really odd one. It turns out that Queens College, Oxford own a number of pubs including this one at Pamber, near Tadley.

An early April run out to the Star Inn at Kingsclere for a bite to eat in the middle of a very busy Sunday in the Garden

Steak and Merlot Pie for me and a Burger for Julie. Good service, food arrived in a good time, was piping hot, tasted great, sensible portions.
