For no good reason really, we were at the Loch Fyne Restaurant in Winchester. We do like it there and they really were at the top of their game.
Starters: Gin and Tonic Smoked Salmon and Scallops and Haggis
Mains: Smoked Haddock and Lobster Thermidore with Risotto
Sweets: Chocolate Fondant with Cherry and Creme Brulee and shortbread
Bottle of Sancerre went rather well with all the fish.
A busy Saturday night, the food was excellent and service prompt and great – including bringing the bill. Genuine 10/10.
